Max Nason graduated from the New England Institute of Art in 2010 with a degree in Audio Production and Engineering and founded MX Productions in 2015 after five years of professional work in sound. That training brings an added level of technical knowledge to every event, especially here in the Adirondacks.
Adirondack celebrations often happen in places that were never designed with amplified sound in mind: tents, lakeshores, boathouses, historic rooms, and private camps. Each setting behaves differently, so good sound begins with understanding the space and planning for it before your guests arrive.

Over the past decade, MX Productions has worked at many of the Adirondacks' best-known wedding and event venues, along with numerous private camps and lodges.
We play weddings and events in Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Wilmington, Keene, Jay, Bloomingdale, Gabriels, Paul Smiths, Ray Brook, Tupper Lake, Vermontville, Malone, and Plattsburgh.
That familiarity makes planning easier. We often already know the load-in route, available electrical service, how the room sounds when it is full, and what is involved if weather means moving a ceremony indoors.
If your venue is new to us, we can schedule a site visit well before the event so there are no surprises on the day.

Transparent Pricing Without Additional Charges
Our pricing includes travel within 50 miles, the complete DJ setup, any music we need to add to our library for your event, and full setup and removal. If your plans call for additional equipment or lighting, we will discuss the options and pricing with you before you book.
If you are working within a particular budget, tell us. We are happy to talk through the options and see what makes sense for your event.

Confirm Availability
Send us your date, venue, and approximate guest count, and we will let you know about availability promptly, usually the same day.
Consultation
We can talk through your plans in person, by phone, or by video. Max stays available throughout the planning process, not just during the final weeks before your event.
Detailed Planning
Together, we work through the schedule, music you want to hear, anything you would rather not hear, and the names and pronunciations that matter for your introductions and announcements.
The Event
We arrive early, finish setup before your guests enter, and coordinate the details throughout the event so you can focus on enjoying it.

What does your service cost?
Pricing depends on your date, the hours of coverage, and the services you choose, and we quote it clearly in writing before you book. Travel within 50 miles, setup, removal, and master of ceremonies coverage are included.
Do you accept requests from guests?
That is entirely up to you. Some couples prefer to stick closely to their planned music, while others enjoy hearing requests from guests. Requests can even be sent by text during the reception, and anything on your do-not-play list stays off the playlist.
